Silver Spring, Maryland (September 30, 2018)—A powerful 7.5 magnitude earthquake in Indonesia triggered a powerful tsunami that killed more than 1,000 people in the hard-hit town of Palu and nearby areas in central Sulawesi leaving hundreds missing and injured.
